Dr. Pellegrini is a primary care physician with a special interest in diabetes and all of the complications that may accompany it, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, heart failure, liver disease and kidney disease. They enjoy working with a diverse population of patients from all backgrounds. They are excited to cheerlead their patients towards better health through sustainable lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, natural supplements, physical movement, hydrotherapy, counseling and healthy nutrition. They understand that knowledge is power and take joy in motivating and empowering patients to make informed decisions to take charge of their health. Dr. Pellegrini believes strongly in considering all the tools available, both conventional and natural, in creating a plan that supports patients in achieving their goals. Dr. Pellegrini enjoys solving problems and embraces the research and perseverance needed to define the underlying cause of their patients’ illnesses.
Dr. Pellegrini has a reputation as a “human hummingbird”. Outside of the clinic, they can be found buzzing around the climbing gym looking for the next rock climbing challenge to conquer, hiking, kayaking, taking endless walks and checking out the maximum number of books allowed at the library. Dr. Pellegrini is most recently endeavoring to learn more advanced chess strategies in an effort to keep up with their young child’s chess obsession. They love all things nature except for the morning glory and thistle that are invading their garden and the bugs that are trying to kill their bug-eating plants.
