BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Zimmerman was born and raised in the Greater Seattle area and earned her degree from Bastyr University’s School of Naturopathic Medicine. She is trained as a primary care physician with an emphasis in dermatology, minor surgical procedures, physical medicine, IV therapy, ozone therapy, and craniosacral therapy.
Her clinical experience spans a diverse range of settings, including a rural clinic in Nicaragua, a hospital in Nepal, a small country clinic in Maine, and private practices in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Zimmerman has also volunteered with a nonprofit organization serving underserved populations in the Seattle area.
During her most recent clinical training, she worked with patients presenting with complex health concerns, including mold and toxin exposures, dermatologic conditions, and gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Zimmerman is additionally skilled in a variety of injection techniques, including neural therapy, ozone therapy, and trigger point therapy.
Dr. Zimmerman is proud to be part of the team at Cascade Integrative Medicine, where she collaborates with a multidisciplinary group of physicians offering a wide range of treatment modalities.
When she is not in the office, you can find her tending to her organic garden, rowing on Lake Washington, biking, hiking or snowshoeing through the hills of the Pacific Northwest with her golden retriever, or diving the depths of the ocean.
